Alix Earle on the ‘Earle Meets World’ Ending, a Season 2 and Those Kardashian Comparisons

“Oh, Alix” were the final words of Earle Meets World season one.
Throughout the eight episodes of Netflix‘s new reality series, influencer Alix Earle and her family navigate everything from family dynamics and friendships to expanding her brand with Reale Actives and speaking out for the first time about what led to her feud with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper. But throughout the series, one consistent storyline focused on Earle grappling with her first real heartbreak: NFL player Braxton Berrios, whom she dated for around two years before the pair ultimately announced their split in December 2025.
Speaking with THR, Earle says the first scene she filmed — moving her things out of Berrios’ home in Miami, Florida — was one of the hardest moments.
“The first thing I filmed was moving out of Braxton’s house, which was obviously a very emotional, hard moment for me, and that was really our first real day of filming and being around a camera crew and just getting used to that,” she says. “I was thrust right away into such high emotions, and then also feeling this new environment, new pressure and the crew around.”
She adds, “But really, the crew was so amazing; by the end it felt like a family.”
While the whole Earle family jokes throughout the series that they’re Team Braxton, Earle questions whether she made the right decision to break up with him.
In the final scene, with her sister Ashtin and best friend Sally listening outside her bedroom door, Earle decides to call Berrios and ask if he ever thinks about potentially getting back together one day. She’s already nervous because, as she explains in the show, Berrios has told her in the past that he would never get back together with an ex.
After she asks him, he takes a long pause before responding, “Oh, Alix.”
Earle admits, “Truly, even watching that back in that episode, I was so stressed out in that moment. You see me staring at the ceiling. I’m sweating, and it was a really hard, vulnerable thing for me to ask, especially filming it as well.”
Ashtin adds that she and Earle “went back and forth” about whether Earle “should even be asking this question.”
Earle recalls thinking, “You know what? I’m just gonna go for it.” She adds, “We’re on good terms,” referring to Berrios.
However, whether audiences will ever get to see how that conversation unfolded remains up in the air, as Earle notes, “Right now, we don’t have a season two, but we’ll see.”
Things could have already changed between the two, though. After THR’s interview with Earle and following the series premiere, Earle unfollowed Berrios, seemingly after he was spotted on a date with model Magui Corceiro in New York over Labor Day weekend. Meanwhile, Berrios still follows Earle.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that Corceiro is an ex-girlfriend of Formula 1 driver Lando Norris, who has recently been spotted with Earle, sparking dating speculation.
Meanwhile, Earle Meets World briefly addresses Earle’s public outings with seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady. During one scene in which Earle visits Dancing With the Stars pros and married couple Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy, Johnson jokingly pretends to call Brady, saying, “Tom? Come over, cutie.”
Beyond Earle’s dating life, the series also puts her family dynamics front and center — something that has led to comparisons between the Earles and the Kardashian family, as both are large families that mix personal and professional lives.
Earle’s dad, TJ Earle, serves as the family’s version of Kris Jenner, acting as the “dadager” to both Alix and Ashtin, who models. In one scene, Ashtin and her father have an open conversation about improving their working relationship after he prioritized Earle’s needs.
“I feel like me and my dad have gotten a lot closer since that conversation,” Ashtin tells THR. “Obviously, he manages both of us, so it can feel like sometimes his time is split, and this girl’s so busy that sometimes it seems like more of his attention is on her,” she says of Earle. “But I know he really just has the best interests of both of us, and he’s the best manager and the best dad in the world.”
Earle adds to that sentiment, “But that’s one of the good things that comes out of the show is they were forced to have this conversation, and now I feel like they understand each other and work better together since.”
Elsewhere in Earle Meets World, the penultimate episode sees Earle and Ashtin undergo genetic testing after their mother, Alisa Maniaci, was diagnosed with breast cancer and identified as a BRCA2 carrier midway through Earle’s run on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars last year. Their reactions to both testing positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation were especially emotional.
“At least we’re in this together and at least we know,” Earle says in the show, comforting Ashtin. “That’s such a privilege to be able to know.”
While the sisters are no strangers to documenting their lives on social media, opening up their lives for a show was difficult at first, they say — but they’d be open to doing it again.
“It was really hard, and something I’m still working through,” Earle says. “But now, I’ve come to the other side where I’m very excited. I really just tried to lean in and trust the process. I think that’s what everyone says is to just go for it. And if you’re gonna do it, don’t hold back.”
After nearly a week on Netflix, Earle Meets World holds the No. 8 spot among the top 10 shows in the United States. It hasn’t been renewed for a second season yet, but the Earle sisters say they’re open to more.
“There’s not a set plan or anything. It’s sort of like, we did this, it was really fun, we enjoyed it and we will see what happens in the future. But for right now, I’m just focused on getting this first season out there, and you know that we are still a happy family after it airs.”

“We’re working on surviving season one,” Ashtin concludes.
