The show won the Golden Globe for best comedy series in 2023 and has been nominated for the best comedy Emmy in each of its first four seasons.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe pair are also behind Netflix\u2019s forthcoming comedy series <em>I Suck at Girls<\/em>, based on Halpern\u2019s nonfiction book. The show will follow the romantic ups and downs of three high school students (Kayo Martin, Jeremy Ray Taylor and Laila Pruitt), with Halpern and Schumacker serving as showrunners and executive producing. They\u2019re also developing a comedy at HBO Max titled <em>Backhanded<\/em> (with fellow writer Ali Waller), all under their overall deal at Warner Bros. TV with their company, Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions.
