The film stars Moritz Hohlrieder as Tomy and Finley Brown as his best friend Chris. The two teenagers spend a summer at an alpine dairy farm in Austria, helping Tomy\u2019s uncle, portrayed by Hannes Perkmann, with the milking and exploring the outdoors. But their time together is not just fun and games.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cTomy\u2019s mother decides to continue keeping the real reason why his father is in hospital a secret from her son,\u201d notes a synopsis for <em>Eklipse<\/em>. \u201cWhen Chris learns that Tomy\u2019s father is in hospital with \u2018the gay disease,\u2019 he becomes frightened \u2013 and Tomy is suddenly confronted with rejection and his own family\u2019s silence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tLenz Moretti, Lisa Sch\u00fctzenberger and Barbara Romaner also feature in the film that explores fears and taboos and how they can obscure important facts.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/uspropertymoves.com\/?p=6048\">In \u2018I Matter,\u2019 a Young Roma Woman Struggles to Keep Two Worlds From Colliding (Exclusive Venice Clip)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tWetscher co-wrote the film with Bernhard Jarosch, with whom he also collaborated before on the short films <em>Magma<\/em> and <em>Four Seasons<\/em>, on which he was also a co-writer, as well as <em>At Night When Mice Scream<\/em>, in which Jarosch acted. Simone Hart is the cinematographer on <em>Eklipse<\/em>, while Anna Kirst edited the movie.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFilms Boutique is handling world sales on <em>Eklipse<\/em>. Its production companies are Austria\u2019s Eutopiafilm and Italy\u2019s Albolina Film.<\/p>\n<p>\n<em>THR<\/em> can today exclusively premiere a clip from the Venice-premiering movie that will take you back to the 1990s in the Alps.
