Produced by Little Door Productions in association with Sky Studios, the six-part second series sees\u00a0Rafe Spall\u00a0reprise his role as the enigmatic Detective Eric Bull.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/uspropertymoves.com\/?p=5966\">Dominic West and Sienna Miller Star in Image From Sky and HBO Legal Thriller \u2018War\u2019 (Exclusive)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cFollowing the events of the first [season], Detective Eric Bull (Spall) moves to a remote Scottish mining village sinking under the weight of its own secrets, where a murder investigation brings him closer to the truth about his own past,\u201d reads a plot description.<\/p>\n<p>\n<em>Under Salt Marsh<\/em>\u00a0launched in January 2026 and became the biggest Sky original drama launch since\u00a0<em>The Day of the Jackal<\/em>, as well as Sky\u2019s biggest entertainment title of the year to date, reaching a 28-day audience of 2.5 million. The first season was filmed in Wales and set in the fictional\u00a0North Wales\u00a0village of Morfa Halen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re incredibly proud to be returning to the world of <em>Under Salt Marsh<\/em> with a brilliant new story in Claire Oakley\u2019s distinctive, atmospheric drama,\u201d said Elwen Rowlands, executive producer and CEO of Little Door. \u201cIt\u2019s been hugely exciting to see audiences respond to the series\u2019 rich sense of place, complex characters and compelling storytelling. The series producer is Zoranna Piggott.\u00a0The executive producers are Rowlands for Little Door and Oakley, with Megan Spanjian for Sky.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe second chapter of<em>\u00a0Under Salt Marsh<\/em>\u00a0will begin filming in Scotland in 2027 and will be available on Sky and streaming service Now in the U.K., Ireland and Italy, Sky said.
