\n\tFormer CAA agent Brian Kavanaugh-Jones has left Range Media Partners to join Backrooms<\/em> producer Oddfellows as partner and co-president, alongside the studio\u2019s founder Chris Ferguson.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe duo have produced 24 film and TV projects together since 2013, \u00a0including The Monkey, Longlegs <\/em>and the upcoming The Young People<\/em> from Osgood Perkins. Kavanaugh-Jones joining Oddfellows follows Ferguson signing a first-look deal with Warner Bros. Picture Group.<\/p>\n

\n\tFerguson also produced Kane Parsons\u2019 Backrooms<\/em>, A24\u2019s highest grossing film at $396 million in global box office. Kavanaugh-Jones is leaving his role as co-president Range Media Partners, a post he held alongside Fred Berger. In his new Oddfellows role, \u00a0Kavanaugh-Jones focus on production and strategic growth.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSince founding Oddfellows, Brian has been my closest producing partner. He brings phenomenal taste and talent relationships alongside a wide ranging entrepreneurial vision that is going to be vital to plotting out an ambitious course in this new chapter for the company,\u201d Ferguson said in a statement. \u201cBeyond all that we\u2019ve had nothing but fun producing movies all over the world together for the last 15 years and I look forward to doing it for 15 more.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tFor his part, Kavanaugh-Jones paid tribute to another of his longtime collaborators, Fred Berger.
\u201cMy partnership with Fred Berger has meant the world to me. Over 10 years and 60 movies together, he\u2019s been my rock personally and professionally.\u00a0These last years together at Range have been some of the best of our career. Fred, Peter Micelli, Jack Whigham and all the partners at Range have been exceptional colleagues and collaborators. I am deeply grateful for their partnership, now and into the future,\u201d Kavanaugh-Jones said in his own statement.<\/p>\n

\n\tBerger added in his own: \u201cBrian\u2019s been more than a producing partner \u2014 he\u2019s family. I\u2019m so proud of what we built together over the last decade from Automatik to Range, and am excited to keep working with him and Chris in this new chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith Range Media Partners, Kavanaugh-Jones and Berger produced the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown <\/em>by James Mangold, and The Bikeriders<\/em>, written and directed by Jeff Nichols, among other credits.<\/p>\n
