Both earned artist and video of the year nods as well; Grande\u2019s \u201chate that i made you love me\u201d is up for video of the year, as is Carpenter\u2019s \u201cTears.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe last two acts for this year\u2019s video of the year race are Bruno Mars for \u201cI Just Might,\u201d  and Gener8ion for \u201cSTORM starring Yung Lean.\u201d Mars, who has five nominations overall, is also up for artist of the year, with Morgan Wallen rounding out the nominees in the category. <\/p>\n<p>\n\tMadonna\u2019s VMAs feat is the latest in a resurgent year for the superstar, whose <em>Confessions II <\/em>debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart last month. The album has been widely regarded as her best since 2005\u2019s original <em>Confessions on a Dance Floor. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>\n\tFor song of the year, along with \u201cBring Your Love,\u201d the rest of the nominees are BTS\u2019s \u201cSwim,\u201d Ella Langley\u2019s \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas,\u201d <em>K-Pop Demon Hunters<\/em>\u2018 smash \u201cGolden,\u201d Olivia Dean\u2019s \u201cMan I Need,\u201d PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson\u2019s \u201cStateside\u201d remix and Raye\u2019s \u201cWhere is My Husband!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThis year\u2019s best new artist race features Bella Kay, Malcom Todd, CORTIS,  Sienna Spiro, Myles Smith, Stella Lefty and Magnus Ferrell. <\/p>\n<p>\n\tThis year\u2019s show, which will once again air on CBS and simulcast on MTV, will also feature the best dance category for the first time in seven years. <\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe VMAs are set to air live from Los Angeles on Sept. 27, marking the first time the show will have taken place in L.A. since 2017.
