Two episodes of\u00a0<em>Vigil<\/em>\u00a0will become available weekly on BBC iPlayer from Aug. 30, with the series airing Sunday and Monday nights at 9 p.m. on BBC One from that date.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/uspropertymoves.com\/?p=5412\">In \u2018Oasis,\u2019 a School Spirals Into Violence \u2013 and Three Outcasts Take Refuge in a Forest (Exclusive Trailer)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe new season sees DCI Amy Silva (Jones) and DI Kirsten Longacre (Leslie) return for a high-stakes investigation that takes them to a remote Arctic research station, where a member of a covert British special forces mission has been shot dead. \u201cAmy and Kirsten will need to catch the killer and defuse a potential international confrontation, as different nations compete for control of the Arctic and its resources in the changing polar climate,\u00a0with both their careers and relationship on the line,\u201d highlights a synopsis. \u201cAs the mission rapidly unfolds, Amy and Kirsten begin to question who they can trust.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe trailer also shows the return of\u00a0Dominic Mafham, who is reprising his role as Sir Ian Downing and new cast members, such as Jeppe Beck Laursen\u00a0(<em>The Last Kingdom, The Trip<\/em>),as Svalbard\u2019s Chief of Police,\u00a0Naomi Yang\u00a0<em>(Under Salt Marsh, Wolfe),\u00a0<\/em>as a microbiologist,\u00a0Tornike Gogrichiani<em>\u00a0(Extraction 2, Drops of God)<\/em>,\u00a0as a Russian colonel;\u00a0Steven Miller\u00a0(<em>Dept. The producer is\u00a0Marcus Wilson, with associate producer\u00a0George Aza-Selinger. Executive producers are\u00a0Jake Lushington\u00a0for World Productions,\u00a0Gaynor Holmes\u00a0for the BBC, and\u00a0Tom Edge.\u00a0Stephanie Fyfe\u00a0is the commissioning executive for the BBC.
