I\u2019m excited for this next chapter of growth and the expansion of my Hot Girl Productions empire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMegan\u2019s announcement comes days after she teased her next album era on Instagram this week. During an appearance on <em>IMO With Michelle Obama &amp; Craig Robinson<\/em> this week, she said she was \u201cstill working on my title right now,\u201d further calling the album \u201ca reintroduction\u201d to her alter-ego persona Tina Snow. <\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cTina is grown now, babe. She\u2019s been through lots of life since y\u2019all heard from her last. I have so many collaborations the hotties have been asking me for. From niche collaborations\u2026 collaborations that are overdue, collaborations that have shocked the people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Interscope partnership follows Megan\u2019s previous deal she announced with Warner Music Group back in 2024, where the major record company provided distribution and other label services while allowing her to go independent. Through that WMG deal, she\u2019d released her most recent album <em>Megan<\/em>. She released her first two albums through 1501 Certified Entertainment and 300 entertainment, the latter of which is a subsidiary of WMG. <\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Megan Thee Stallion Partnership is just the latest notable deal for Interscope, which has also signed Troye Sivan as the singer readies his just-announced upcoming fourth album <em>She\u2019s the Best<\/em>. We\u2019re honored to welcome\u00a0Megan\u00a0to the Interscope family and excited to partner with Roc Nation as we support her next chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Megan Thee Stallion first came to mainstream prominence with her viral hit \u201cHot Girl Summer\u201d back in 2019, following that with multi-platinum hit \u201cSavage,\u201d which went on to get a remix with Beyonc\u00e9 and won Grammys for best rap song and best rap performance. 2024\u2019s <em>Megan <\/em>debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard chart and featured the viral hit \u201cMamushi,\u201d which went gold.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cMegan\u00a0has always approached her career with a focus on ownership, creative freedom and long-term impact.\u201d\u00a0Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez said in a statement. \u201cThe ability to maintain her independence and own her masters is a testament to the vision that has guided her career from the beginning.\u00a0We look forward to working together with Interscope\u2019s team and tapping into their global resources to further elevate this new era of her career.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Outside of her music, earlier this year, Meg made her Broadway debut playing Zidler in <em>Moulin Rouge!<\/em> as well. It was a shorter tenure than originally planned, and she was hospitalized after falling ill mid-show in March. She later confirmed that doctors cited \u201cextreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels\u201d as the cause of her symptoms. She called the incident\u00a0\u201ca real wake-up call,\u201d further noting that \u201cI\u2019ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tShe returned to the production two days later but would later exit the production early, playing her last show on May 1 after previously being scheduled to play through May 17.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDuring her <em>IMO <\/em>appearance this week, Meg called <em>Moulin Rouge! <\/em>\u201csuch an amazing experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cMeeting all of those people, I feel like I made so many really, really good friends.
