\n\tFresh off of two buzzy TV performances this year in Margo\u2019s Got Money Troubles<\/em> and The Madison<\/em>, Michelle Pfeiffer has a new perspective on what roles she\u2019s looking to take on. <\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking at THR<\/em>\u00a0x Apple TV\u2019s\u00a0Leading the Narrative: The Women of Apple TV\u00a0event on Sunday, Pfeiffer \u2014 sitting alongside fellow Emmy nominees Elle Fanning, Dale Dickey, Karolina Wydra, Rhea Seehorn and Jessica Williams \u2014 declared, \u201cI never want to star in another movie, I swear to God. I only want to do ensemble pieces. It\u2019s so much more fun, I love it so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s a big comment from an actress whose movie career includes Dangerous Liaisons<\/em>, Batman Returns<\/em>, Scarface<\/em>, Hairspray<\/em> and The Fabulous Baker Boys<\/em>. This year, though, she has starred in and exec produced both of her TV ventures, with both renewed for more seasons.<\/p>\n

\nMargo\u2019s Got Money Troubles<\/em> centers on a college dropout (played by Fanning) who turns to\u00a0OnlyFans\u00a0to financially support herself and her new baby.\u00a0Pfeiffer plays Fanning\u2019s mother, Shyanne, a former Hooters waitress with a bold sense of style and some eye-catching veneers; Nick Offerman, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano and Nicole Kidman co-star, with Pfeiffer\u2019s real-life husband, David E. Kelley, serving as showrunner.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve just been so bowled over by the female performances on television and honestly, they\u2019re just really owning TV,\u201d the star said on the panel, saying of Money Troubles<\/em>, \u201cI love how complicated and flawed all these characters are, and it really reminds me of that famous Robin Williams quote where he says, \u2018Remember that everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about, and be kind.\u2019 That kind of, for me, sums up the show and the message of the show, and I\u2019m really proud to be a part of it.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tPfeiffer also teased that in her off-camera life she functions as \u201cthe wallflower,\u201d and \u201cit was so fun to be able to live vicariously through her and to see the looks on the crew\u2019s faces whenever Shyanne would show up to the set. They were just, \u2018Oh God, now look what she\u2019s wearing!\u2019 Everybody needs a little Shyanne in their life and in their closet.\u201d <\/p>\n
