The first note was sent to KOLD-TV 13 News on Feb. 2; Nancy was last seen alive on Jan. 31. Addressed directly to Savannah Guthrie, the first ransom note demands $4-$6 million (depending on date of deposit) in Bitcoin. It says Nancy is \u201csafe but scared.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNancy Guthrie is the mother of <em>Today<\/em> show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie. She was 84 years old at the time of her disappearance.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cHer life is in your hands,\u201d the first note states. We never intended to hurt her, that was not our intention. She perished shortly after she was taken. We believe it was heart related. She is buried in nature now. Nothing you could have done could have changed the outcome. We want your family to know this and hope you can all find peace.
