It narrowed its loss of TV customers to 21,000, against 80,000 TV customers dropped in the same period of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThose losses were offset by Charter adding 406,000 mobile wireline subscribers, down from adding 500,000 total mobile wireline subscribers in the year-ago period. The latest customer losses came as legacy cable giants face increasing competition from\u00a0YouTube and other streaming-era competitors and the decline of traditional TV to reach and retain video viewers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe company earlier added programmers\u2019 streaming applications in Spectrum\u2019s expanded basic packages to lower churn and had a slight bump in signups when Disney channels were unavailable for YouTube TV subscribers during a recent carriage dispute.
