A <em>La La Land<\/em> musical is also currently in development for Broadway.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe original poster for the 2016 film features Emma Stone and Gosling dancing against the Los Angeles skyline. Both actors have one arm raised, but while Stone\u2019s hand is extended up, Gosling tilted his hand flat \u2014 a choice he has since joked he regretted.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSpeaking to <em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em> in 2024, the <em>Barbie<\/em> star reflected on why the pose still \u201chaunts\u201d him.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cMaybe <em>La La Land<\/em>,\u201d he said when asked if there was a role he\u2019d like to do over. \u201cThere\u2019s a moment that haunts me where we\u2019re dancing, Emma and I, and I didn\u2019t know this would become the poster for the movie, but I thought we were supposed to have our hands up and I thought it\u2019d be cool to put my hand [flat].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/uspropertymoves.com\/?p=4014\">Dixon Q. It just killed the energy that way. I call it La La hand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tGosling even poked fun at the moment earlier this year while promoting <em>Project Hail Mary<\/em>, releasing a video in March in which he finally corrected his \u201cLa La hand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDirected by Damien Chazelle, <em>La La Land<\/em> follows aspiring actress Mia (Stone) and jazz musician Sebastian (Gosling) as they chase their Hollywood dreams while falling in love.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe film won six Academy Awards, including best director for Chazelle and best actress for Stone.
