The House of the Dragon<\/em> star will narrate The Wolf,<\/em> a three-episode immersive romance for the audio erotica app Quinn,\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter<\/em>\u00a0can exclusively announce.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For the drama, Smith will take on the role of cunning private investigator James Pierce \u201cwho journeys to a centuries-old villa on Lake Como to find Gregory Barclay, a ruthless American billionaire who has vanished without a trace. When James arrives, he discovers his real client is Rosalind, Barclay\u2019s beautiful new wife, and that everyone in Barclay\u2019s glamorous inner circle has something to hide. James tries to keep the case professional, but his growing attraction to Rosalind puts the investigation at risk.\u201d<\/p>\n

Smith narrates directly to the listener, who steps into the role of Rosalind.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Wolf<\/em> is a dangerous, sexy, seductive murder mystery. The listener is dropped into a very glamorous world,\u201d Smith says in a statement. \u201cI think this series is for anyone who loves a good murder mystery, and also loves a bit of eroticism in their murder mysteries.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMatt has this incredible ability to make you root for even his most complicated characters, which made him the perfect person to guide listeners through this story,\u201d says Caroline Spiegel, founder and CEO of Quinn.<\/p>\n

Taking on the role was an \u201cinteresting challenge,\u201d Smith says. \u201cThere\u2019s a great team around you at Quinn. I think there\u2019s something really liberating about telling a story in this way, in this form, and in this tone.\u201d <\/p>\n

In typical Quinn fashion, the app has been teasing Smith being a narrator on social media. In one post, the app shows a stuffed dragon wearing pink Quinn headphones with the caption, \u201cThe Rogue Prince is coming to your headphones.\u201d (Smith portrays Prince Daemon Targaryen\u00a0in\u00a0House of the Dragon<\/em>.) <\/p>\n

After launching in 2021, Quinn notably began enlisting Hollywood talent last year to help share audio erotica that \u201cfelt approachable and not intimidating.\u201d<\/p>\n
