Nocturna was behind horror movie <em>They Will Kill You<\/em> that was released by Warner Bros. in March<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe script, written by Slater, follows an exorcist names Jefferson Haddock (Bacon), who is called into an isolated witness protection property to deal with a terrifying demon, accidentally unleashing a force that threatens to end him and everything around him.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDan Kagan, one of the producers of horror hit <em>Longlegs<\/em>, is executive producing.\u00a0The feature will shoot this fall.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/uspropertymoves.com\/?p=2302\">Warner Bros. One of the writers of the Josh Trank <em>Fantastic Four,<\/em> Slater earned creator credits on Marvel Studios\u2019 <em>Moon Knight<\/em> and Fox\u2019s <em>The Exorcist<\/em> as well as <em>Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire<\/em>. He was a co-creator on Netflix\u2019s long-running super hero series <em>Umbrella Academy<\/em>, based on the Dark Horse comic, and worked on <em>Kombat II<\/em>, which opened in May.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSummoner is a rare starring feature turn for Bacon who, for the last several years, has made it a habit of stealing roles and steadying movies with his presence. He appeared in prestige mini-series <em>Sirens<\/em> and toplined the Amazon Prime Video series <em>The Bondsman<\/em>. He and wife Kyra Sedgwick recently directed and starred in the horror-comedy project\u00a0<em>Family Movie<\/em>\u00a0alongside their children, Travis Bacon and Sosie Bacon.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBacon is repped by MGMT and Johnson Shapiro.
