UGT\u2019s predecessor, Universal International Studios, and Fuzzy Door acquired rights to Dinnaman\u2019s books in 2024. Chris Yost (<em>Maul: Shadow Lord, Thor: Ragnarok<\/em>) is set to write and executive produce the series.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cI\u2019m happy to announce that our friends at Peacock have *officially* greenlit the <em>Dungeon Crawler Carl<\/em> television series!,\u201d Dinnaman wrote on Instagram. \u201cMe, Chris Yost and Seth MacFarlane and his team at Fuzzy Door are all really excited to get to work.\u201d Dinnaman also noted that he and Yost are scheduled to lead a <em>Dungeon Crawler Carl<\/em> panel at Comic-Con in July.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/uspropertymoves.com\/?p=2104\">Why Netflix Canceled \u2018The Boroughs\u2019 (Exclusive)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tHere\u2019s the logline for the series: \u201cAn alien invasion has wiped out most of humanity and any survivors are forced to fight for their lives on a sadistic intergalactic game show. Sounds bad, right?\u00a0Now try doing it with bare feet and a stuck-up, self-centered, tiara-wearing talking cat as your partner. Welcome to Dungeon Crawler World: Earth, where the apocalypse will be televised \u2026 and Coast Guard vet Carl finds himself stuck with his ex-girlfriend\u2019s award-winning show cat, Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk, as they try to survive the end of the world, fighting monsters, aliens, an insane A.I. and even other survivors \u2014 all for the sake of good TV. Survival is optional. Entertainment is not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tYost will executive produce the series with MacFarlane, Erica Huggins and Rachel Hargreaves-Heald for Fuzzy Door.
