\n\tTay Keith, the Grammy-nominated producer behind hits like Travis Scott\u2018s \u201cSicko Mode,\u201d has died. He was 29.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Metropolitan Nashville Police Department confirmed Keith, whose real name is BryTavious Chambers, died Thursday. A cause of death was not made available, though police said in their statement that \u201cno foul play is suspected.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNo foul play is suspected in the death of Brytavious Chambers, 29, also known as Grammy nominated record producer Tay Keith. He was found dead in his Martin St apt this afternoon by officers performing a welfare check. His death is unclassified pending autopsy results,\u201d the statement reads in full. <\/p>\n

\n\tKeith was a frequent collaborator with Scott and Drake, earning two Grammy nominations for his work with both rappers. His first nod came from 2018\u2019s \u201cSicko Mode,\u201d which appeared on Scott\u2019s Grammy-nominated record Astroworld<\/em>; his second stemmed from 21 Savage and Drake\u2019s \u201cRich Flex.\u201d Both songs earned best rap song nominations. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe producer also worked on a number of other hits, including Drake\u2019s \u201cNonstop,\u201d Sexyy Red\u2019s \u201cPoundtown\u201d and Miley Cyrus\u2019 \u201cMother\u2019s Daughter,\u201d among others. He has additional producing credits with the likes of Beyonc\u00e9, Eminem, Lil Baby, Gunna, Metro Boomin, DJ Khaled, Cardi B and Kanye West.<\/p>\n

\n\tBorn and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Keith began his music career as a teen by making music and sharing it on YouTube and Datpiff. He met rapper\u00a0BlocBoy JB\u00a0at 14, when the two began collaborating on music. <\/p>\n

\n\tHis most recent producing credits included Jack Harlow\u2019s 2025 track \u201cJust Us\u201d featuring Doja Cat; Scott\u2019s single \u201c4\u00d74\u201d; and \u201cBroke His Heart\u201d from Megan Thee Stallion\u2019s 2024 album Megan<\/em>. <\/p>\n
