The couple was all smiles, wearing matching black-and-white looks, with Plaza showing off her baby bump. Sunday\u2019s appearance marked their first red carpet arrival since <em>People<\/em> exclusively reported in April that the pair were expecting their first child.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPlaza supported Abbott as he was nominated for best actor in a featured role in a play for <em>Arthur Miller\u2019s Death of a Salesman<\/em>. Unfortunately, Abbott lost the award to Alden Ehrenreich<em> (Becky Shaw<\/em>).\u00a0The Tony nomination was Abbott\u2019s first, and his other fellow nominees included Danny Burstein<em> (Marjorie Prime<\/em>), Brandon J. Dirden<em> (Waiting for Godot<\/em>), Ruben Santiago-Hudson<em> (August Wilson\u2019s Joe Turner\u2019s Come and Gone<\/em>) and Richard Thomas<em> (The Balusters<\/em>). His co-star, Laurie Metcalf, won for best actress.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tWhile it\u2019s unclear when <em>The White Lotus<\/em> actress and <em>Girls <\/em>star began dating, the pair previously worked together, co-starring in the 2020 film <em>Black Bear,<\/em> as well as in the off-Broadway revival of <em>Danny and the Deep Blue Sea<\/em> from October 2023 to January 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/uspropertymoves.com\/?p=1374\">\u2018Lesbian Lines\u2019 Doc Shines a Light on Irish History Not Taught in School \u2013 and the Power of Listening<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tPlaza made rare comments about her pregnancy during the <em>SmartLess\u00a0<\/em>podcast in April, with hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Parks and Recreation<\/em> star said of motherhood: \u201cWell, there\u2019s a baby inside of me. I\u2019ve always wanted to see what that\u2019s all about, you know? It just seems so interesting, that whole thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPlaza\u2019s husband and screenwriter Jeff Baena\u00a0died by suicide in January 2025.
