The streamer and premium-cable brand has greenlit yet another <em>Power<\/em> spinoff \u2014 the fifth \u2014 for eight episodes. <em>Power: Legacy<\/em> will bring back Michael Rainey, Jr.\u00a0as Tariq St. Patrick and\u00a0Joseph Sikora\u00a0as Tommy Egan. And this time, Starz is a co-producer with Lionsgate Television, whereas the previous <em>Power<\/em> shows were all licensed.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/uspropertymoves.com\/?p=1250\">\u201cIt Was All Greek to Me\u201d: Why Producer Miranda Bailey Went Int\u2019l to Back an Indie Film From Greece<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tThis spinoff thing is nothing new to Rainey Jr. and Sikora \u2014 they\u2019ve already done <em>Power Book II: Ghost<\/em> and <em>Power Book IV: Force<\/em>, respectively. <em>Power: Legacy<\/em> will see the return of Tommy to New York, where he partners with Tariq (Ghost\u2019s son) to \u201ctake the city by storm,\u201d per the synopsis.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFans are probably excited by today\u2019s news, but not exactly stunned. A post-credits scene for the 2024 <em>Power Book II: Ghost<\/em> series finale alluded to Tariq\u2019s story continuing. And in January 2026, the character appeared in the <em>Power Book IV: Force<\/em> series finale, foreshadowing this collab.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201c<em>Power<\/em> never dies, and this chapter is our biggest yet,\u201d said\u00a0executive producer Curtis \u201c50 Cent\u201d Jackson. \u201cFans have been waiting to see Tariq and Tommy together, and now they\u2019re taking over New York City. The <em>Power<\/em> Universe is executive produced by the creator and showrunner of the original <em>Power<\/em>, Courtney A.
