When Will the Major Studios Follow Suit?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n<em>La Brea<\/em>, which aired from 2021-24 on NBC, led the Nielsen streaming rankings with 1.28 billion minutes of viewing from May 4-10. The series, which also streams on Peacock, rose by 46 percent week to week; it joined the Netflix library on May 1. <\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe previous week\u2019s No. 1 show, <em>The Boys<\/em>, slipped one spot to second overall despite also growing. The Prime Video series recorded 1.05 billion viewing minutes, up from 947 million a week earlier and crossing the billion-minute mark for the first time this season.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNetflix\u2019s critically acclaimed <em>Lord of the Flies<\/em> adaptation debuted with 565 million minutes of watch time. A new season of <em>Worst Ex Ever<\/em> clocked in with 778 million minutes. Prime Video\u2019s <em>Citadel<\/em> (438 million minutes) returned to the rankings with the premiere of its second season, which came three years after season one. <em>The Pitt<\/em> also (417 million) continued to show staying power, staying in the top 10 original shows three weeks after its season finale. Two new original films, Netflix\u2019s <em>Remarkably Bright Creatures<\/em> (696 million) and Hulu\u2019s <em>Send Help<\/em> (427 million), finished second and third.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNielsen\u2019s streaming ratings cover viewing on TV sets only and don\u2019t include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. The ratings only measure U.S. audiences.
