‘The Kardashians’ Season 8 Trailer: Kim Reveals Health Scare That Landed Her in the Hospital, Kendall Denies Cara Delevingne Romance Rumors
The Kardashian-Jenner family is back for another season of their hit reality series — and this time, they’re navigating new relationships, family drama and a health scare.

Following The Hollywood Reporter‘s exclusive report last month that season eight of the Hulu series would premiere in October, Hulu has set an Oct. 8 premiere date and released an extended look at the new season. The trailer sees sisters Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, along with other family favorites, navigating a new chapter of their lives.
The trailer gives a sneak peek at a recent health scare Kim endured. “I have something called esophagitis,” she says while getting her hair and makeup done.
As Kim is seen in the hospital, someone points out that the condition is also what her late father, Robert Kardashian, had.
“Life is just really precious. And I worry if my kids are going to slip away,” Kris Jenner, the OG momager, says. “Family, it’s all about family.”
The trailer also puts a focus on the women’s dating lives.
“Have you dated anyone privately?” Khloé asks Kim, who responds, “Let me just say this. I just can’t control myself.”
Caitlyn Jenner also makes an appearance, asking Kendall, “So, since I never get to know, how’s the love life?”
Kendall then addresses rumors that she and longtime friend Cara Delevingne were romantically linked.
“There’s definitely a rumor that Cara and I dated, which is not true,” Kendall says. “By the way, I have nothing against having sex with Cara. Never say never, right?” Cara then laughs.

“I’m single, I might be ready to mingle,” Khloé adds.
Elsewhere, the trailer teases tension between Kourtney and the rest of the family. Kendall says they don’t get to see Kourtney that often, while longtime family friend Simon Huck tells Kourtney, “They think Travis [Barker] is shielding you from the family, which is probably the biggest misread of the century.”
The trailer also shows Khloé jokingly asking Kris if she’ll carry her next baby, as well as a playful exchange with Scott Disick about whether the two are having a baby together.
Hulu’s official logline for the series reads: “This season is all about love, reinvention and what comes next. Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie balance empire-building with something far more personal, from unexpected sparks and new relationships, to healing old wounds and embracing independence.”
The famous family got their start on reality TV with Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which aired on E! from 2007-21. Three months after the show was announced to be ending, THR reported that the family had found a new home at Hulu.
Speaking with THR on Wednesday to celebrate the launch of her Khloé Kardashian fragrances, Khloé said she “counts [her] blessings” that the show has resonated with audiences for nearly two decades.
“They’ve grown up with me,” she adds.
And it appears there’s no slowing down. “I don’t have a real end date in my head,” Khloé says, adding, “We always say we want to keep doing it until it’s fun and until, like, if people still want to watch and enjoy, then why not? We have a lot of fun doing it.”
The Kardashians is executive produced by Fulwell Entertainment partner Ben Winston, Danielle King, Emma Conway, Elizabeth Jones and Erin Foye. Additional executive producers include Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie.
