As Gabriel Luna joins the new season in the role of Freddy Strain, Reece is now on a journey of violent redemption that ties into his own family’s history. The second season, based on Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer, sees Reece looking to uncover a vast conspiracy stretching from Moscow to Langley and allowing him a new purpose after finishing his list — a terminal list — of people he wanted to target for revenge in the first season.

“The psychological revenge story of season one expands into a globe-trotting espionage thriller, taking Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe,” a synopsis from the producers reads.

The Terminal List was adapted from the first of Carr’s five novels built around the character of Reece, played by Pratt. The starry second season of eight new episodes — returning four years after the rookie season rolled out — includes returning cast members like Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim, Luke Hemsworth, Gabriel Luna, Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo and Shiraz Tzarfati.

The Terminal List season 2 is executive produced by Pratt, Antoine Fuqua (who directed the original pilot for the series), showrunner David DiGilio, Carr, Kat Samick, Max Adams and Jared Shaw. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media.
