A ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ Competition Series Is Coming to Netflix

Hey Gabby, what’s the big surprise?

Netflix is launching a Gabby’s Dollhouse competition series in which young baker-and-maker duos do (friendly) battle in whimsical baking and crafting challenges inspired by the preschool series. Laila Lockhart Kraner will host the untitled series as her character Gabby; four holiday-themed episodes will arrive later this year, per Netflix, along with new episodes in 2027. Season 14 of Gabby’s Dollhouse premieres on Sept. 14.

Kids programming accounted for nearly 22 percent of all Netflix viewing last year, the streamer says, and Gabby’s is among its standouts. Gabby’s Dollhouse was the fourth most-watched series on Netflix from July to December 2025.

“Since Gabby’s Dollhouse first premiered on Netflix in 2021, a world of creativity and imagination has exploded for our young audience and it only continues to grow” co-creators Jennifer Twomey and Traci Paige Johnson said in a statement. “We’ve been so lucky to continue playing and creating in the Dollhouse, with a fourteenth season coming to Netflix, and now a competition series that brings play to life in a new way.”

Gabby’s Dollhouse released its first movie last year.

Netflix continues to expand its presence in the preschool space. More than 100 Sesame Street episodes and specials arrived on the service today, with another 20 set to join them next month. Monday also marked the Netflix premiere of Bedtime Stories with Netflix Jr., featuring “soothing stories from beloved worlds” including StoryBots, Trash Truck, The Creature Cases, Gabby’s Dollhouse and Dr. Seuss to “help little ones relax and drift off to sleep.” Lord knows they need it from time to time. The streamer’s bedtime stories had previously been available on podcast platforms and the Netflix Jr. YouTube channel.

Also for the kiddos, Dr. Seuss’s Red Fish, Blue Fish premieres its third season on Netflix on Aug. 10, and Sheriff Labrador season two follows three weeks later.

There are also new games coming later this year to the Netflix Playground app, including content from PJ Masks: Save the Night and My Very Hungry Caterpillar, as well as more from the world of My Little Pony, Paw Patrol, Trash Truck and Sesame Street. Six new KPop Demon Hunters mini-games are available now.
